Who We Are

In its ninth year, the AGFE is a blockbuster event that has become an annual tradition and a star in the global community of Atlanta. The AGFE operates as a project of Lykion ton Ellinidon’s (Lyceum of Greek Women) Atlanta chapter and is entirely run by volunteers. The Expo staff works tirelessly throughout the year to plan the annual event, supported by an Advisory Board of experienced and respected community and industry leaders. The AGFE is funded through sponsorships by individuals and businesses, grants and ticket sales.

What is our mission?

The Atlanta Greek Film Expo (AGFE) aims to elevate and promote Hellenic (Greek) culture and arts in Atlanta, and to showcase dynamic, innovative and highly acclaimed films from Greece and Cyprus. Through the generosity of our sponsors, donors and partners, and the hard work of our volunteers, we strive to bring the best work of Greek filmmakers to our audience – the Greek diaspora of the Southeast and the wider public.
